Do you have a do-nothing-day? This would be a day free from pressures and responsibilities of a typical day. It’s a day that allows you to temporarily disrupt the busy cycle of modern day.
Hustle culture may encourage you to work day and night for seven days a week. It’s very easy to get swamped up by the daily happenings in life, so much that you barely have time to rest. But it’s not practical to do this for long without a health breakdown. Your body and mind requires occasional time out – to rest, recover and rejuvenate. You don’t have to wear yourself down to look productive. You can take short breaks (for rejuvenation) and still be productive.
A day is just a day, and a week is just a week. Some days will be exciting, and others depressing. While working day in, day out, consider having a do-nothing-day from time to time. Such a day is great for letting your mind and body to rest and rejuvenate.
Lead your life to reach your goals; live deliberately.
